Garden of the Gods Tennis and Pickleball AWESOME!!! This is your new Director of Racquet Sports Luke Jensen with all the latest updates from the extraordinary Garden of the Gods Resort Tennis and Pickle Ball Programs. First, I want to give a massive shout out to Coaches Scott, Michael and Mike for unbelievable service to Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. I have met with so many members and families that have nothing but amazing things to say about them and we wish them all the very best moving forward. I have met with some of you during my onboarding and what a wonderful crew you have here. I was honored to have played professional tennis from 1983 to 2006 before beginning many stages of life through tennis. I’ve been commentating for ESPN Tennis since 1994 and my last position of Director of Racquet Sports was at the former home of the US Open. The historic West Side Tennis Club in Forest Hills, NY. My connection to Garden of the Gods Resort and Club is my long time friendship with President & CEO, James Gibson. My brother Murphy and I worked with him at the Sea Island Resort in Sea Island Georgia.

I am excited to be here and know that I am here to serve all of you the very best racquet sports experience in the world. As we look to 2022 I see so many great things happening with the new courts coming online in the summer. I thrive on communication and feedback so I can provide the experience you deserve. A world class facility with world class professionals leading the way. I am passionate about teaching all levels of play and bringing experiences to the members.

I love juniors and the future of the game is how we develop them in the values of outstanding sportsmanship and work ethic. Traits that will carry them through their lifetimes. I am sooooo into Pickleball! I’ve already nicknamed the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club Pickleball players “The Pickleball Posse”. My specialty is doubles tennis and the tennis clinics will be focused on playing tactically smart and shifting well with your partner.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and get going to a 2022 of F U N!

I do want to recognize the Club Pickleball players WINNING at the recent Great Pumpkin Indoor Pickle Ball Tournament. Tim Haas and Theresa Pingel winning the 3.0 MXD title. Brad Harvey and Todd Matia winning Bronze in the 3.0 men’s 35+ doubles. Congratulations to these CHAMPIONS!!!
