STRATA Fit CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Barr: This class combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training. BBB Bootcamp: Body, buns, and biceps, enough said! Challenging ourselves to be better than we were yesterday. Core Cardio: Get the heart going with bursts of cardio mixed with dynamic core stabilizing exercises to help with balance and stabilization. Full Body Stability: Gentle Stretch and Balance: The class will focus on enhancing ease of movement, joint mobility, stretching, strengthening, and balance. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training): This is a full-body workout. The class is a rigorous interval training sequence with high-intensity exercises. It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance. This class combines resistance training with plyometric moves to improve your strength and power. Indoor Cycling: In this class you will perform choreographed cycling to energetic music. Takes you up and down hills, jumps, and sprints. Match Point Fit: This engaging, tennis specific program is designed to develop your best tennis body and ultimately your best tennis game ever! All ages, ability, and fitness levels welcome. Movement Maintenance: How does breathing and foam rolling come together to aid in recovery? This class will help in building more versatility & durability with our bodies and aide in optimizing your wellness. Moving to Thrive: Inspired by dance, martial and healing arts, energized by the healing power of music, this class is for anyone seeking ways to feel better while living with long or short-term illness, injury, stress, or conditions that present movement challenges. NIA: Nia combines energies and philosophies of dance, martial arts, and healing arts, supported by most current evidence-based research, to create a deep mind, body, spirt connection and somatic awareness. Pilates: Pilates develops a longer, leaner, stronger, and more graceful body by improving muscular symmetry, alignment, posture, core-strength, and flexibility. All levels welcome. Pilates/Core: In this class you will build strength and flexibility, which will sculpt your body into a longer, leaner, stronger version of yourself. This class focuses a lot on strengthening your core, which helps with spinal stabilization, helping protect your body from back injuries and allowing you to stand taller and stronger. Power Spine: Balancing the stability of your vertebral column and functionality of surrounding muscles is the goal of this powerfully paced movement class. Initiating at the core, this hour will hit everything. Sculpt and Tone: A great way to define, sculpt and build lean muscle. Focuses on intense isolation exercises with free weights and resistance, ending with abs. Spin Circuit: Indoor cycling intervals and multi-station strength and balance exercises will help you make the most of this high energy workout. Strata Stamina: The layers of endurance are at the heart of this resistance, calorie crushing session. Utilizing the full gauntlet of our expansive equipment list, Stamina will burn the caloric equivalent of a 5-mile run without the repetitive impact. Strength: A fast moving class, that starts with an aerobic warm up and keeps your heart rate up throughout class. A variety of props are used as well as body weight to strengthen upper and lower body and core. The class is face paced, keeps you moving and having fun!! Strength & Cardio: Designed to help shed excess fat while building strength and endurance, this class includes circuit training, cardio exercise, body weight exercises and finishes with core training and stretching for a complete workout. Total Body Strength: Strengthen your entire body with a mix of exercises using weights, sliders, bands and more to improve total body strength, balance, and core. TRX: Requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete a wide array of exercises. Vinyasa Yoga: This mindful class consists of intentional poses coordinated to move seamlessly together using our breath. Expect to explore forward folds, gentle backbends, spinal twists, and low impact strengthening in this class. Yoga: This class emphasizes the basics of body alignment for any level of yoga practice. An excellent class for beginners through mid-level who are active and without major physical limitations. Develop stamina, strength, and flexibility, safely and effectively, in this full-spectrum class. Yogalates: This class is a fusion of yoga and Pilates where you’ll explore your flexibility and core stability.
