Strata Fit Class Descriptions
Aqua Fit: This low/moderate impact class is performed in the shallow or deep end. Your choice. It is designed to improve joint stability, coordination, heart health, and strength, using aquatic dumbbells and pool noodles.
Cycle and Strength: Bring your cycle workout indoors for climbs, sprints, jumps, and much more. This workout is choreographed to fun and energetic music.
Decades Bootcamp: The decades bootcamp workout is a high intensity training class that includes functional fitness, such as using whole body, multi-joint exercises that simulate movements we do in life. While jamming out to tunes throughout the decades!
Essentrics: Essentrics dynamically combines strengthening and stretching to develop a strong, toned body with the complete ability of moving each joint and muscle freely and with full range of motion. Perfect for injury prevention, pain relief, stress release and promoting healing.
Fit for Life: This class is designed to improve strength, aerobic capacity, coordination, and balance! It’s structures for adults who wish to improve their quality of life for the long-haul. The goal is to help you stay strong in mind, body, and spirit. Chronic conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis and hypertension can all improve with these activities.
Functional Yoga: This practice combines traditional yoga postures with mobility exercises to help strengthen the range of motion in your joints. In turn, this practice helps your body activate your muscles in a stabilized manner, real life application with your movements, injury mitigation, and increased flexibility.
Gentle Stretch and Balance: The class focuses on enhancing joint mobility, stretching, strengthening, and balance.

Moving to Thrive: Inspired by dance, martial and healing arts, energized by the healing power of music, this class is for anyone seeking ways to feel better while living with long or short-term illness, injury, stress, or conditions that present movement challenges.
NIA: Nia Technique: A powerful fusion of dance, martial arts and mindful practices, Nia inspires and guides participants to honor the body’s wisdom and adapt to personal needs for sustainable, effective, functional movement. Benefits include increased strength, flexibility, and agility, just to name a few.
Moving to Thrive: A slower yet dynamic version of Nia Technique with the same soulstirring music, joy, passion, and variety of movement. This class is for anyone with movement challenges, or anyone wishing to perfect Nia movement technique. A deepening experience of the healing benefits of Nia mind/body/spirit connection. Adaptable to anyone’s needs.
Pilates & More: This class will include traditional Pilates exercises while adding functional training core work and total body combination exercises. We’ll mix it up each week!
One More Rep: This fast-paced total body circuit class is a blend of HIIT training in a bootcamp style. It will build cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance. Participants are challenged to push to their limits and walk out feeling strong.
Pranayama and Meditation: Learn how to have complete control over the thing you need most. Mastering breathing techniques will bring inner peace, increased stamina, clarity of thought and improved sleep.
Pulse: This challenging strength class combines full range movements with pulsing patterns engaging all the key muscle groups and maximizing muscle fatigue. With a muscular endurance focus, participants are encouraged to use lighter weights for more repetitions.
Rejuvenating Connective Tissue: This Essentrics-based 1-hour class focuses on fascial release and ligament health. Perfect for those who perform repetitive motions in their other activities.
Restorative Yoga: help ease the effects of chronic stress with a blend of various yoga poses guided with breath and gentle movement. An excellent class for anyone who is active and without major physical limitations.
Qi Gong: “Chi Kung is also known as “Energy Exercise” The practice of Chi Kung is done in place and relates more toward internal energy and health. All movements are preformed slowly with an emphasis on deep breathing techniques. The history of this art goes back almost 3,000 years.
Raise the Bar: Utilizing multi-joint movement patterns and a body bar, this high intensity workout will be sure to have you sweating.
Siddha Yoga: These postures train your body in such a way that you will feel calm and relaxed. It will help free you from tensions and release negative energies if they exist.
Slow Flow Plus Yin: This is a slow style of Vinyasa yoga with long holds to maximize the amount of release from the body.
Strength & Cardio Bootcamp: Non-stop exercises and muscle-burning movements with proper warm up and cool down
TRX: Using the TRX Suspension Trainer, this energetic class leverages gravity and your body weight to complete a wide array of exercises for core upper body and lower body.
Velocity: This fast-paced, no-rest strength class uses various props and body weight exercises to strengthen upper body, lower body and core.
Yin Yoga: This is a gentle and relaxing all-level class that works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine and is suitable to all levels of students through extended holds of postures.
Yoga 60: A one hour yoga class that emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind.
Yoga: This class emphasizes the basics of body alignment for any level of yoga practice. An excellent class for beginners through mid-level who are active and without major physical limitations. Develop stamina, strength, and flexibility, safely and effectively, in this full-spectrum class.
Yoga Sculpt: This class combines hand weights with traditional asanas for a challenging workout. It is an excellent blend of balance, resistance and endurance that teaches constant body and breath awareness.
