Yoga2 (“yoga-squared”) is a great opportunity to build and improve trust and teamwork. During this special one-hour clinic, you will pair up with other members while assisting each other in various asanas.
This smooth-flowing, choreographed session will invite you to:
❖ Communicate your needs
❖ Listen when your partner communicates theirs
❖ Be sensitive to subtle adjustments and movements
❖ Provide physical and emotional support
❖ Find a healthy balance of rigidity and flexibility

In this clinic, partner yoga can be practiced by two strangers in a playful class setting while emphasizing experimentation and personal discovery. Laughter can be healing - expect lots of laughter and fun challenges.
Working with a partner provides balance in a pose while establishing and maintaining proper body alignment. It also allows each yogi to experience the pose in a new way. In learning to trust another person, you deepen your ability to trust yourself. This reveals the beauty of our interdependence.
When then see that when we take the risk to become vulnerable in the presence of another, we are empowered to go much deeper with less effort.
Touch is an integral component of partner yoga. Leverage and kinesthetic awareness heighten the body’s ability to perform and go more deeply into poses. We will use touch to increase our awareness of each other and open ourselves to greater joy.
You will undoubtedly share many laughs along the as well as exploring a different way to practice Yoga. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill or experience level, and there's always room to grow.
BEAT THE BULGE: SEMAGLUTIDE COULD BE A PART OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS SOLUTION
For the past several decades, Americans have fought an uphill battle against weight gain. Today, it is estimated that more than 70% of the United States population are overweight or obese. Furthermore, at any given time at least half the U.S. population is trying to lose weight. Despite these efforts, rates of high body fat percentage and obesity continue to climb.
Semaglutide is a game-changing, FDA-approved medication developed to treat diabetes and has been shown to help people (with and without the condition) lose weight. If you have repeatedly tried to lose weight without success, Semaglutide might be your answer to long-term weight loss and weight maintenance.
What is Semaglutide?
Semaglutide helps your pancreas release insulin to bring down blood sugar levels. It does this by activating a blood sugar-regulating protein found within the cells of your pancreas through weekly subcutaneous injections.
Semaglutide Promotes Weight Loss
Clinical trials, cited in the New England Journal of Medicine, show that out of 2,000 participants who did weekly Semaglutide injections - most lost at least 10% of their body weight, and more than half lost 15% of their body weight. Additional results included improvements in blood pressure, blood sugar, and overall heart disease risk.
Semaglutide Has Proved to be Effective
Of the currently available weight loss medications, Semaglutide has been shown to be more effective with a lower side effect profile.
Semaglutide Offers Long-term Weight Management
Present evidence suggests that Semaglutide offers a long-term solution for managing weight. Medications in the same family have a long history of safe use and have, thus, remained on the market for many years.
Who is a Good Candidate for Semaglutide?
Semaglutide appears to be effective across a range of individuals who are overweight or obese, even if they don’t have diabetes.
It’s important to note that Semaglutide is the most effective part of a healthy lifestyle change. This means that you will get the most out of this therapy when combined with a well-balanced diet and individualized exercise regimen.
At Strata Med, our team of wellness experts are here to provide the guidance, tools, and support to help you succeed in achieving meaningful, long-term weight loss.
