10 WINTER WELLNESS TIPS

1. TAKE A WALK, maybe only five minutes, but get up and get walking. 2. BE YOUR OWN BEST FRIEND; give yourself a compliment every morning. 3. WEAR CLOTHES THAT FIT and make you feel good. 4. PLAY, MOVE, (EXERCISE) just 5 to 10 minutes a few times a day (during commercials sneak in some exercise). 5. DRINK WATER. Since you tend to get dehydrated during the winter months, you experience chapped lips & dry skin.

Try to drink just one more glass of water a day with a goal of 3-5 8-ounce glasses a day. 6. LEARN SOMETHING NEW; a new language, how to knit etc. Always be reading, watching and experimenting. 7. GIVE YOURSELF A STAR when you reach a goal, try something new, feel great, look great, have fun or have a good day. 8. STAND AND SIT UP STRAIGHT; it’s great for your abs and your confidence. 9. MAKE A WISH LIST, not resolutions for the upcoming year. Try to make a small change every week to make your wishes come true. 10. SMILE, even when you don’t feel like it.

It will improve your spirits.

Together, we can wear red and raise awareness, all to help save more lives. Wear red and join us at the Village Square, 10:30am, for an indoor walk through GSV (if weather permits, we can walk outside).
