Who’s Who in The Cast TAY ANDERSON (Felicia) is so excited to be returning to the Garden stage! She was last seen at the Garden as Ambrosia Pilar in A Tennessee Walk (BWWA winner) and as Bonnie Parker in the Central Florida premiere of Bonnie & Clyde the Musical. Other favorite credits include: Penny in Hairspray, Jeanne Coyne (assistant choreographer) in What A Glorious Feeling, Peggy Jones in The Andrews Brothers, Mary Bailey in Miracle in Bedford Falls, and Missy in The Marvelous Wonderettes. Much love to Mom, Dad and CK. SARAH BETH GANEY (Mona) is a Florida native, but new to the Winter Garden theatre community and is very excited to be on a new stage. During the day, Sarah is a Legoland Florida employee, working in the entertainment field, she is a member of the percussion group JunNk, and she is a member of the Opera Orlando 2021 Company Chorus. She has most recently been in productions at Theatre Winter Haven as Wendy Jo in Footloose, Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde, and Sister Amnesia in Nuncrackers. She recently finished a wonderful production of Pumpboys and Dinettes at Ocala Civic Theatre as Rhetta and, last year, went on a tour with the National Theatre for Children through Pennsylvania in one of their educational theatre offerings. Sarah attended college for Vocal Performance at Drake University and was lucky to play the titular role in Alice Ryley and the role of Pamina in Die Zauberflöte while there. SEAN POWELL (Ed) is excited to return to the Garden after appearing in last season’s production of Violet. Other Central Florida productions include Spitfire Grill and Once the Musical at Mad Cow Theatre. Favorite roles include Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet; Woody Guthrie in American Song; Johnny Cash in Ring of Fire; Emmett in Legally Blonde; Britt Craig in Parade; and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. Who’s Who in The Cast LILLIE ELIZA THOMAS (Sophie) is INCREDIBLY excited to be back on Garden Theatre’s stage! Lillie holds a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida, but has studied music her entire life. Some previous acting credits include: Matilda (Miss Honey), Hello, Dolly! Who’s Who in The Cast GAVIN WAID (Bobby / Michael) is excited to be joining Garden Theatre in this beautiful production of A Class Act. Originally from Lake Wales, Gavin received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Central Florida, and his Masters of Music from the University of WisconsinMadison. Favorite past roles include the Baker (Into the Woods), Tobias Ragg (Sweeney Todd), and Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro). Gavin is honored to be able to perform with the Garden and would also like to thank – as always – his family and friends, near and far, for their constant love and unwavering support.

Who’s Who in The Production Team JOSEPH C. WALSH (Director) is an award-winning theatre director and educator who is thrilled to be a member of the Garden Theatre team. Most recently he served as the Artistic Director of Arlington Children’s Theatre in Arlington, MA and Wild Oats Productions in the UK. He was the Interim Director of Education at the White Plains Performing Arts Center where he also directed Ghost (starring Natalie Weiss and Steven Grant Douglas) and West Side Story. Joseph directed critically-acclaimed productions of Hairspray and Singin’ in the Rain for the Cork Opera House in Ireland. In 2013 Joseph collaborated with West End star Linzi Hateley to devise and direct Linzi Hateley: True Colors - Life Since Carrie at Saint James Theatre in London and 54 Below in New York, as well as the London revival of Love Story: The Musical, which was nominated for an Off-West End Award for Best Musical. Joseph directed the Off-Broadway premiere of Sonder at The Player’s Theatre and in London’s West End he served as Assistant Director on Coyote on a Fence and Resident Director on When Harry Met Sally (starring Molly Ringwald and Michael Landes). Joseph spent three seasons as the Touring Director for White Horse Theatre, the world’s largest touring educational theatre company, where his work was seen across Europe and Japan. ALEXANDER LaPLANTE (Apprentice Director) is happy to be joining the creative team as the first apprentice director! A recent graduate of Emerson College, his credits include, Stardust (Music Director), First Date (Music Director), Lucky Stiff (Assistant Director), and American Idiot (Director). He is proud and grateful to be behind the table helping out and learning how to work in this COVID world. BERT RODRIGUEZ (Music Director) is so happy to make music at the wonderful Garden Theatre! He most recently wrapped The Fantasticks at The Athens Theatre in Deland where he music directed Footloose, Gypsy, and A Christmas Carol in years prior. Last year he music directed the smash hit Marie and Rosetta at freeFall Theatre in St. Petersburg. He has musically helmed Mad Cow Theatre’s It Was A Very Good Year (and Yule) cabarets for the past 3 years, and was fortunate to music direct the regional premiere of Matilda at Theatre South Playhouse in 2019. He thoroughly enjoys working with the teens and youth at Theatre South Playhouse and Theater West End, dedicated to inspiring a passion for the Arts to the generation that will lead us into the future.

Who’s Who in The Production Team MAYME PAUL (Choreographer) has been fortunate to have a long successful career in the arts. She has Directed and Choreographed well over one hundred productions in LA, Seattle, Vegas, DC and Central Florida. She performed on Broadway in A Chorus Line, Little Johnny Jones, The Tap Dance Kid and The TONY Awards. She is thrilled to be working at the Garden Theatre on A Class Act, bringing back wonderful memories from her time with A Chorus Line (having been part of the cast when the show broke the record for the longest running hit on Broadway.) Mayme currently teaches dance at UCF. Thank you for supporting live theatre! BERT SCOTT (Scenic Designer / Lighting Designer) Previously at the Garden: lighting for Violet and A Christmas Story and scenery for Hello, Dolly!. Off-Broadway: According to Goldman, Bass for Picasso, The Unexpected Guest, The Cocktail Hour, The Middle Ages, The Rules of Charity. He previously served as sound designer for the Texas Shakespeare Festival from 2013-2018. Recent credits include Vote? and Pete the Cat at Orlando REP; Children of Eden and Mary Poppins at St. Luke’s; Hello, Dolly! and Ugly Lies the Bone at Garden Theatre; and Bring it On the Musical at Auburn University. Anthony is a proud member of United Scenic Artists. KYLE RANSBOTTOM (Properties Master) is a freelance prop and scenic designer/fabricator based in Central Florida. He has previously been the Garden’s Prop Master for 1984, Gypsy, and Xanadu. Who’s Who in The Production Team ERICA FELTON (Assistant Stage Manager) is excited to be joining the Garden Theatre as a first time Assistant Stage Manager. Erica got her start in theatre as a scenic carpenter apprenticing at Ocean State Theatre Company in Rhode Island and Hartford Stage Company in Connecticut, and has since worked in community and regional theatres in Connecticut and Florida. DAVID CLENNEY (Master Electrician) has been a part of the Garden since La Cage aux Folles, and is working on his 31st show with the company. As a native of Orlando he has thoroughly enjoyed participating in the growth of the theatre community in the area. David attended Seminole State and the University of Central Florida. He would like to thank his family, friends, and you for your support of the arts. JOHN PHILLIP SUBLETTE (Master Carpenter) is an enthusiastic young theatre professional who recently debuted at the Garden Theatre as a scenic carpenter for Hello, Dolly!. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Florida State University, and is an avid performing artist in addition to his work in technical theatre. He has performed in orchestras, opera choruses, and several musicals in Central Florida. You can see John in the chorus for the upcoming production of Die Fledermaus with Opera Orlando. JUSTIN HARMON (Assistant Carpenter) is excited to build another set for the Garden Theatre! Justin graduated from Valencia College’s Entertainment Design & Technology program in 2018. Justin also freelances around Orlando working many shows at multiple venues and music festivals. In his free time, Justin enjoys bowling and playing video games. ISABELLA CELLUCCI (Scenic Artist) is an Orlando-based Scenic Artist for theater and television. Her work can be seen at many theaters throughout Florida including the Orlando Repertory Theatre and Orlando Shakes. Recent theatrical scenic charge credits include Matilda, Ugly Lies the Bone, and Deathtrap. Isabella has also worked as a scenic artist for the Paramount Network television show Ink Master: Grudge Match. She holds a degree in Production Design from Valencia College. CHEYENNE DALTON (Audio Engineer) is an audio engineer based out of Orlando, Florida with a penchant for children’s theatre, rock musicals, and anything fast-paced. Throughout her decade of mixing, her favorite shows have been Assassins, A Year with Frog and Toad, Chicago, and The Full Monty. This is her third production with the Garden Theatre, following Hello, Dolly! and Matilda. ROSIBEL HERNANDEZ (Costume and Makeup Run Crew Chief) is happy to return to the Garden Theatre this season! Her most recent credits include wardrobe chief for Ugly Lies the Bone and Hello, Dolly!. Rosibel also works as a stitcher at the Orlando REP and American Players Theatre in Wisconsin. She has a B.F.A. at the University of Central Florida with a focus in costume technology. TOM LIMBACHER (Spot Operator) Is excited to once again be joining the team here at the Garden. Last seen onstage in Hands on a Hardbody, Tom has also worked crew for Hairspray, La Cage aux Folles, Christmas by Committee, Xanadu, and Gypsy. Tom is also a very recognizable character actor from his numerous Orlando regional theatre appearances but, right now, he is most happy to be here at the Garden.

Rebecca Roper Proscenium Arch There is a physical space in the theatre that serves as a bridge between the audience and the actors. It is called a proscenium arch - a gateway and connector. The proscenium of the Garden is named in honor of our Founding Board President’s 15 years of volunteer service, leadership and a passion for the arts that changed a community.

Tickets are available online at gardentheatre.org or by calling 407-877-GRDN (4736) Due to the nature of live performance, events, performers, dates, and times are subject to change. Seating policy – All late seating will be at the discretion of the House Manager and cannot be guaranteed. Please arrive early. House Rules – Any photography, audio, or video recording of this performance is strictly prohibited. House management reserves the right to remove disruptive guests. No outside food or drink; no concessions will be offered at this performance. Accessibility – Kindly arrange any special needs, including wheelchair accessible seating, with the Box Office staff. House management will provide assisted listening devices and large print playbills upon request. Returns and Exchanges – There are no refunds on tickets to Garden Theatre events. All sales are final. There is a $5 exchange fee on ticket orders. Ticket exchanges must be made at least 24 hours prior to the performance. No credit will be given. Subscribers are exempt from this fee. Restrooms – Restrooms are located on the second floor via the grand staircase through the double doors near concessions. The lobby restroom is meant for those guests with difficulty accessing the second floor.
