Initially I set out to study graphic design out of a personal interest in visuals. I quickly realised that visual communication itself is a whole new world, a world that most people never consciously think about, taking in images, buying products and recognising brands without even knowing these things were designed specifically to capture their attention. It is the journey of finding that balance between colour, shape and tone of voice that I find most intriguing about visual communication that has inspired me to further my studies in Marketing. To learn more about customer behaviour and the psychology behind how and why good design affects us the way that it does.
