THE BLONDE SALAD Chiara Ferragni is not your average fashion blogger. Since launching her blog, The Blonde Salad in 2009, she has garnered more than 5.4 million Instagram followers. Chiara was then a 21-year-old Law student at Bocconi University in Milan, when she began posting about her favorite fashion items and her opinions on the latest style trends. “It began as a hobby,� she tells HELLO! about her blog.

Ferragni might prompt eyerolls from older generations who believe success should flow from a discernible talent. But, increasingly, it’s people such as Ferragni, who basically made her career on taking pictures of herself in fetching outfits who are #winning.
Ferragni’s success in the fashion world has seen it evolve primarily into a fashion blog, charting what she wears, her inspirations, and her numerous collaborations with an impressive roster of design houses, including Dior, Ermenegildo Zegna, Benetton and Mango.
Ferragni has also collaborated with Louis Vuitton on a series of video posts, documenting her travels throughout the world and her use of Vuitton products. The Blonde Salad has been featured in publications including Teen Vogue and New York Magazine.

Now the successful Ferragni, her wares are available in 350 stores, including in flagships in Milan and Shanghai. The Asian market is a priority for Ferragni and her team, with 20 stores scheduled to open in China in the near future.
