4 FULL-STOCK FLINTLOCK RIFLE. American, late 18th-early 19th century. Flintlock with full cherry stock. English lock is signed "T. Ketland & Co." 43.5" octagonal barrel. Retains an old dark surface. Brass hardware including a finely engraved trigger guard with pineapple finial. $800-$1,600
POWDER HORN. American, early 19th century. Elaborately engraved with "W. Crammer, 1811", American eagle and shield, two ships (one flying an American flag, one with a vignette of a man shooting ducks from the deck), a crab, man-eating sharks and fantastical creatures including a griffon and mermaid. 24 MARYLAND 8 GAUGE PERCUSSION SHOTGUN. American, mid 19th century. Double barrel 8 gauge percussion shotgun made by Alexander McComas from Baltimore, MD. Barrels are 35" of Damascus steel, stock is crotch walnut. Extensive inlays including a dog retrieving ducks on the trigger guard. In-use repair at the wrist. According to family tradition this was known as the "Goose Gun" and originally belonged to Edward Tilghman Paca of Maryland (1812-1852), and has descended in his family. Edward was a grandson of Governor William Paca, signer of the Declaration of Independence. $1,500-$2,500

This gun has clear legible marks of: P-38, 5257 J ac 4 4 on left slide, small 359- eagle -359 on right side of slide as well as matching serial numbers 5257 J on other parts. 90 VOLKSSTURMGEWEHR VG 1-5. German, mid 20th century. Volkssturmgewehr VG 1-5 semi-automatic rifle in 7.92 X 33 mm Kurz caliber with 14.75" barrel and plain wood stock. Serial number is Th 2909. Impressed cartouche above serial number is RA 100. Included is a silk escape map of Germany and the surrounding countries, an Army Motion Picture coupon book, two boxes of ammunition, and a belt pouch. This is a rare gun manufactured by Gustloff Werke in Suhl latter years of WWII for the Germans. This somewhat crude but fully functional gun is an important part of military history. According to family history this gun was brought back by an ancestor as a souvenir and has been in the family ever since. $25,000-$35,000
