Since she has relocated several times herself, she understands the additional challenges of starting over in a new place. She is especially passionate about working with Seniors. It can be a challenging time to decide on new priorities and goals. She has obtained the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation to ensure a wide range of resources that support all the challenges. Licensed since 1991, Mark Woodroof has managed and owned residential real estate brokerages for more than 20 years. As Managing Partner of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene, he has led its recordsetting performance and its numerous and significant acquisitions to form what is now the No. 1 brokerage in Houston. The company’s success is exemplified by the distinctive honors it has received, among them, the multi-year recognition by Houston Business Journal as No. 1 on Houston Business Journal Lists ranking the largest Houston-area residential real estate brokerages by transaction sides and by sales volume.
Woodroof, the HBJ’s 2018 Most Admired CEO, feels a deep sense of obligation to serve the community both on a professional and personal level. Professionally, Woodroof currently serves on the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), a position gained only by the appointment of the Governor of Texas. Woodroof holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He has been married to Ann for over 41 years, is the father of Brett (Katie) Woodroof, and Matt (Karla) Woodroof, and the very proud grandfather of Porter, Conley, Finley, and Darby.

CHAILLE RALPH
VP OPERATIONS
A licensed real estate Broker since 1982, Chaille Ralph brings a wealth of experience and a broad body of knowledge to BHGRE Gary Greene and her position as VP of Operations & Analytics.
A native Houstonian, it was Chaille’s love of the city that led her to a career in real estate. It began with the management and marketing of commercial office buildings, and then grew to include commercial construction and project management, before shifting into the residential sales market in the mid-’80s.
Building upon her successful sales career, she expanded her skills to include relocation services and naturally transitioned her experience and talents into sales management.
As a leader, Chaille’s keen understanding and unwavering support of sales associates, combined with her state-ofthe-art technology solutions, has translated to a higher level of service to clients and customers. Her training skills are a great asset in assisting and inspiring new and well-seasoned agents alike, and have proved to be an essential element in their development and increased production.
Chaille also has an impressive history of industry leadership, serving on numerous committees, task forces and leadership positions with the Houston Association of Realtors, where she was Chair of the Board of Directors for the 2014 calendar year. In addition, she has held Director and Committee positions with HAR, Texas Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She currently serves as the 2022 Vice Chair for the HRIS Board of Directors, RVP for Texas Realtors and Director for the National Association of Realtors.
Chaille says that she loves the challenges that face her every day and delights in the fact that she found a way to mold her passion for Houston and its continuous redevelopment and growth into her life’s work. While she is passionate about the industry she serves, she is most proud of her daughter Ashley, who is a licensed Realtor as well and a 2019 graduate from Texas A&M.
