The Museum hosted a luncheon at the Deal Golf and Country Club, Sat., Oct. 26, to celebrate a convergence of historical milestones that hit close to home. This year is the 170th anniversary of the founding of the Township of Ocean. It is the 35th anniversary of our Museum—and the 10th of the opening of the Eden Woolley House. Speakers shared brief histories of the Township and Museum with the 110 guests attending. Freeholder Lillian Burry received the Museum’s first-ever History Champion Award for her career-long advocacy of historic preservation.
