Call for Proposals for the 2010 GATESOL Conference Dear ESL Professionals, The Call for Proposals for the 2010 GATESOL Conference is now open. The conference will be held on October 8th and 9th in Atlanta at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. This year’s conference theme is Beyond Borders: Reaching, Teaching, and Learning. We encourage you to keep this theme in mind when submitting a proposal. The idea of “Beyond Borders” relates not only to geographical borders, but also to the cultural, educational, and legal barriers that ESL teachers and students confront. You may also want to consider preparing a presentation proposal related to one of our many interest sections, such as Adult Education, Program Administration, Elementary Education, Second Language Writing, Intensive English Programs, etc. We encourage all of you to consider sharing your successful classroom experiences, projects, training programs, and research at GATESOL. The links for proposal submissions for the 2010 GATESOL conference are provided below, and the submission deadline is May 10, 2010.
