The 4.17 Acres site for the Indian Institute of Skills - Mumbai is located inside the National Skill Training Campus in Chunnabhati, Mumbai. The depth of the floor plate and efficiency of the form allows flexibility to accommodate future needs and creates ideal conditions for collaboration and learning. The training spaces are transparent to further promote interdisciplinary collaborations.`

In Mumbai, markets are one of the few spaces of semi-covered or covered nature, which are strategically situated and open for public use. Markets need to serve a larger set of population to survive in the digital era. The research on markets and modern variations of markets – mall, supermarkets - shows that public markets need to employ a certain degree of advertising to attract customers.
Attaching the market to a host of programs like event spaces, offices, galleries, restaurants, turf ground would allow a larger set of people inside and around the market at any given time. This draws in a higher number of people inside the market involuntarily and without any considerable extra effort.
