The Rhos Summer Sounds Music Festival Event Co - Ordinator And Technical Manager A large music festival held in Wales’ largest village of Rhosllanerchrugog. A 3 month music festival of music based at the Stiwt Theatre, Rhos/Music varied from performers such as Mica Paris to tribute acts, rock and indie bands to acoustic music sessions. As well as providing turnarounds and numerous lighting and sound designs (over 20 by the end of quick tu the festival)Within the space of 3 months.As the head of an event team I was also responsible for Venue, Marketing and Sales discussions on a daily basis including all contract negotiations and finance matters.

Roles included rigging and maintenance ensuring that large companies and productions requirements were met prior to the arrival of these people. Often working late and long hours it was imperative that a clean and tidy appearance was kept at all times in order to work within strict venue guidelines. Acoustic Live Events Events And Technical 2008-2012 Organizer of a series of monthly acoustic music events including numerous acoustic artists at various North Wales Venues.A Not for profit organisation. Each event required detailed marketing as well as discussions with venues and artists to agree technical and production aspects in advance. The Royal International Pavilion Technician 2007 - 2013 General technical roles within the venue, Lighting designs, Rigging, Operation and planning. As well as sound operations within the venue for various events ranging from small community events to large scale musical events and outdoor festivals held within the 4500 capacity arena and 8000 capacity outdoor site. Lighting designs are often completed on a very quick turnaround basis and setup for lighting and sound is completed rapidly with minimal staffing levels. Ponciau Banks Park Festival Event Organiser and Technical Co-ordinator An event held in co-operation with the Rhos and Wrexham council, funded by Lottery agencies.The event featured over 22 artists as well as dance, drama, and ci circus workshops.The event was staged in ponciau banks park prior to the now successful regeneration of the site.The mini festival attracted over 2500 visitors who enjoyed the 2 stage festival.I was responsible for all technical aspects and headed up a team of committee members and volunteers who worked in numerous roles helping to result in the success of the event.
