B. Arch at RV College of A rchitecture, Bangalore. I am a graduate of RV College of Architecture, Bangalore. In my experience at the educational institution and workplace, I have developed an in-depth understanding of how people use spaces and an ability to develop designs that realize the potential of these spaces and also helped me to develop interests in design discussion or solving design details and models. This is where I believe I am intuitively strongest, motivated, continuously evolving, and searching towards creativity.

01 EMERGENCE Community development through tourism Site Location : Bagalkot, North Karnataka Feb-Jun, 2020 EMERGENCE – The process of becoming visible after being concealed Faculty : Anup Naik, Seema Maiya, Nagaraj Vastarey, Mehul Patel

This thesis project will explore a place(OLD BAGALKOT)– which is submerged in back water of Almatti reservoir(upper Krishna Project), that had lost values of space, historical significance(Fort, Temples and Masjids), memories, buildings etc. Also, creating a symbiotic relationship between the past and the present.

The urban fabric has suffered from back water, inadequate services and inappropriate use, with many people living in unsanitary condition. It is a comprehensive project aimed at every aspect of environment, heritage and human life, with several components including restoration, training, education, public spaces, tourism and raising public awareness. All these components tied together to achieve an integrated enduring revitalization.

Fort Wall: as historical significance or symbol of fallen city/fort. Revitalization: conserve existing building by putting them into good contemporary use. This approach gives historic buildings a “Second Life” by reconnecting them with society. The main aim to rehabilitate the place, to preserve its heritage and create a better quality of life for its habitants. The history of a city gives it its identity: for example, if it’s a city whose history is connected to water somehow, then water can become a symbol, which allows you to exploit this element in many ways in public spaces. Intention here is not simply to preserve existing nor to oppose the new layer to old. This thesis attends to explore how this layer could become a tool for both preserving such as wall(historic significance), environment and at the same time encouraging further development.

Theoretical Premise : This thesis project will explore a place(OLD BAGALKOT) – which is submerged in back water of Alm Masjids), memories, buildings etc. Also, creating a symbiotic relationship between the past and the present.

Also, documented one 200years old house to understand how the spaces are designed with respect to climate and activities of people and their tradition, culture and lifestyle.
