What an exciting time to be in the cattle business! We want to take the opportunity to invite you to our first live event for the Next Chapter Volume VII Sale. This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time because of the passion for the cattle business that was instilled in me by my parents. My dad and mom have always provided me with opportunities to follow my passion and I am forever thankful.
The Angus portion of the offering exemplifies the vision and talent Dad possessed when mating Angus cattle. I believe that this is the best set of Angus show heifer prospects and bred heifers that we have ever offered.
This sale wouldn’t be possible without the support and vision of my good buddy, Will Shleby. The Charolais, Hereford, Maintainer, Simmental, and Simmental Influence show heifer prospects are all offered by close friends. They are a high-quality set of females that offer something for everyone.
It has been a pleasure to work with everyone and we hope you will join us on Saturday, October 19 to enjoy friends, fellowship, and good cattle.

C&C Princess 4205 has been selected to lead off the Next Chapter Volume VII offering. This April prospect has a near flawless phenotype, as she is not only exquisite in her balance, but she combines that with tremendous quality and structural correctness. The look and presence of this heifer is difficult to replicate. Her dam, C&C Princess 6106 has become the focal donor at Callahan Cattle Company. Full sisters to Lot 1 have been campaigned by Helen Orr and Gavin Layton. They have been selected as Reserve Champion Angus Heifer at the 2022 Summer Preview Show, Champion and Reserve Angus Heifer and Oklahoma State Fair, and Reserve Supreme Heifer at the Northwest District Show. I believe that this is the best Angus heifer we have raised to this point.

I like this Hereford and Ella Weldon was gracious enough to put her in the sale. This is an exciting female with a big-time future! Not only is this heifer extremely attractive and well-balanced, but she is also structurally flawless with added depth of body. I believe that this heifer’s exquisite front one-third is difficult to replicate, especially for a horned female. C&C Winnie 2020 has a pretty neat pedigree. She is a EXAR Grenade 9152B daughter that goes back to a full sister to McKinley on the bottom side. A maternal sister to her sold to Cunningham Ranch in the 2023 Denim & Diamonds Sale for $50,000. This female offers a well-balanced EPD profile, and should fit into any progressive program looking for easy fleshing, big bodied replacement females.
Sells with a bull calf at side sired by EXAR Cover the Bases 0819B, born on 8/13/24.

I have loved C&C Princess 6106 since she was two weeks old. 6106 is by far the longest necked stoutest hipped female on the entire place. She has produced heifers selling for $25,000, $20,000, and $15,000. If you look through this offering, her Primo daughters make up the majority of the Angus show heifer prospects. I really appreciate the look and presence she can inject into her daughters while still making these Angus with some true

SIMMENTAL // DOB 1/15/22 // AAA 20369850 // TATTOO 2020
THERE IS NOT ANOTHER SIMMENTAL BULL IN THE INDUSTRY THAT CONSISTENTLY MAKES GREAT CATTLE LIKE BROKER.
If you are searching for a bull to make purebred or half bloods he will work. In 2017 he sired four Supreme Champion females at Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and the Ohio State Fairs and was Grand or Reserve in the Simmental shows at Houston, the National Western, OYE, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, and Oregon State Fairs with jackpots, and regional shows across the country seeing the likes of Champion Broker sons and daughters.

CHAROLAIS // DOB 2/14/24 // AICA M1000000 // TATTOO 30H
SVY Mayfield 30H is the one in a million, International Champion Bull, claiming the 2022 Canadian Western Agribition Supreme Champion Bull & 2023 NWSS Grand Champion Bull, two of the most coveted titles a Charolais bull could claim. He has been the center of many conversations even since his public debut, with many wondering if it was possible for him to pass along such an incredible phenotype to his progeny. A tremendously deep set of Mayfield daughters sold earlier this month at Aces Wild Ranch in Millsap, Texas. Do not miss out on this rare opportunity!
Semen is located at 605 Sires in Marion, South Dakota. Buyer is responsible for shipping.

“Here’s to the end of this chapter. To all the late nights, early mornings, learnings gained, and experiences shared. Here’s to the hardships that became our teachers. To the heaviness that taught us how to rise again. And to the people who would stop their world to sit and celebrate the present. Here’s to the times we chose feeling over disconnection. Freedom over perfection. Courage over what’s known and certain. And to putting in the work.
Here’s to releasing what wasn’t ours to keep. Here’s to holding our palms wide open to our blessings. Here’s to honoring one’s legacy.
And here’s to taking one step forward into the hope and possibility of tomorrow.”
