lue Bayer creates a work of art with each of his creations.
We were very fortunate to visit Blue at his workshop recently. Although his designs are impeccable, what captures your attention most is his humble persona. After speaking with blue you feel as if there is no task that cannot be accomplished. It is this can do Attitude that really distinguishes blue bayer amongst his contemporaries. As blue bayer prepares to launch his first flagship store in manhattan. you just know that this store will reflect his creativity and vision. Whether it is a beautiful maiden who after receiving a terrible spell cast upon her must live out her days as a spider or an anatomical heart, in which the ventricles make for the perfect statement vase, every piece in Blue Bayer's collection has a reason for being. We were very fortunate to be able to feature some of his pieces in our s14 and F14 issue. Each time we have Collaborated with Blue, it is as if you are transported into this very unique world he creates. When you hear the stories of how his casts are created you marvel at how authentic and inspiring the work he does truly is. If one word comes to mind when you explore Blue Bayer's pieces it has to be imagination. It is as if he transports you into another time and place by experiencing his pieces. You get a feeling that blue is creating a very special place for us to visit and even escape to. Blue bayer is truly an original.
