Summer 2022 Go! Gaithersburg Guide
FROM THE DIRECTOR
What’s on your summer bucket list? Want to try a new food? Visit one of our two amazing farmers markets; they happen weekly at Casey Community Center on Thursday afternoons and at Kentlands Main Street Park and Pavilion on Saturday mornings. Vendors provide local produce as well as many different cultural food offerings.
Want to spend more time outdoors? Visit one – or more – of our parks, come to the Gaithersburg Water Park, play miniature golf, learn to ride a skateboard, or enjoy the ever popular SummerFest – happening on July 2 at Bohrer Park.
Want to enjoy a concert in a park? Summer is the perfect time to enjoy free performances and programming at the Concert Pavilion in Olde Towne.
Want to learn new things while having a blast? Sign up for a summer camp or fitness class, visit the Community Museum, participate in a Skywatching program at Observatory Park – there are so many fun, healthy and exciting activities for everyone.
As you can see, Gaithersburg should be at the TOP of your summer bucket list with so many great opportunities to move, play and grow – right here in your home town!
