She also holds an all-time top 10 position in rebounds with 16 in an MIAA tournament game. Off the court she served as the Women’s Basketball representative in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.).

She has seven years of coaching experience as a summer camp coach at the Point Guard College, Next Level Eclipse club teams, and as a seasonal personal basketball trainer in Wichita.

Handy is the daughter of Broncbuster basketball and track alumni, Jerrod Handy, who held the GCCC decathlon record for many years. She is also the cousin to former Lady Broncbuster and All-Region Honorable Mention player, Deni Jacobs.
