Words From Our Family!
RECIPIENT
“For my family and for myself, Shabbos is the hardest time of the week. But Tomchei Shabbos has changed our life. It’s given my family our Shabbos back, and our dignity back. It has given my children more than just the food, but a taste of what Shabbos should be.”
- A Shabbos Family
DONOR
“It’s our own neighbors who are struggling! This realization hit when my son came home from a neighbor's house and described their ‘Shabbos party’. There was nothing in the house. It's really sad. We need to be there for each other.”
- Chaim L.
VOLUNTEER
“Delivering food to people who need it is absolutely amazing. My Shabbos Family does an AMAZING job making sure that the people who I deliver to are treated with respect!”
- Zevi K.
DONOR
“I’ve never had the nisayon of not being able to afford basic Shabbos necessities. But every Friday, my family hosts an older woman in my neighborhood who does. There are so many others! And through our donation, another family will have everything they need.”
- Moshe S.
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
