Electromagnetic Spectrum
The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all types of radiation, which is simply energy that expands. Anything beyond the range of 380 to 700 nanometers is invisible to the human eye including the side effects. The sun emits solar radiation, which falls on either side of the visible light spectrum and causes irreversible damage to the skin.
With UV imaging, UVisible can reveal the effects of solar radiation to encourage people to take action against it. Furthermore, UVisible can also identify spots that may be linked to the early stages of skin cancer.
UVisible does not diagnose skin cancer but can reveal sun damage and irregular spots that should be checked out by a dermatologist.
Black spots show sun damage and white spots show potential melanoma, which should be checked out by a dermatologist.
