TRANSITION TO SENIOR SCHOOL
Transition to the Senior School is very important to us, and starts from day one in the Junior School. Learning from specialist teachers in specialist spaces encourages our pupils to move around the building, using different skills in different lessons.
Our curriculum also teaches future skills from Reception onwards, meaning that by the time the girls have reached secondary school, they are already well versed in the skills that enable them to thrive in the wider world.

Collaborative learning projects enable Junior School girls to access the subject expertise of Senior School specialists and to take on challenging projects alongside Senior girls.
Sixth Formers provide inspirational role models for Junior pupils, choreographing dance, coaching sport, supervising study and leading musical ensembles and clubs. Junior girls join the Senior School fully equipped to flourish and eager to make their mark.
To ensure a seamless transition to Senior School, our dedicated staff prepares Junior pupils with a series of empowering initiatives, including engaging workshops conducted during the Summer term of Year 6. Pupils find this experience highly beneficial in preparing their future at Bromley High School.
During the Summer workshop, we performed various scenarios and experiences that we might encounter in school. Teachers provided valuable guidance and suggestions on how to handle any challenges that may arise.
