Family, in the context of human society, can be defined as a group of people who are related to each other. This project is to design a house for extended family which includes nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and siblings-in-law. Understanding the critical issues of human living space in the context of urban communities through the design of dwelling is needed to this project. By making observations and analyze the social group’s issues, integrated space in creative way can be developed.

Yin and Yang becomes harmony
1. Each member of family has a very strong bond. Despite frequent rows because of personal or family matters, especially when living together, they keep trying to stick together, try to understand each other. This makes the family stronger and stable. Inspired by ‘‘yin and yang’’ concept, an ancient Chinese philosophy, means balance of life. This symbolizes the balance between good and bad elements. With this balance, everything become harmonious.

Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is one approach to developing cities that adopts mixed spatial planning and maximi- zation of mass transportation uses such as Busway / BRT, City Railways (MRT), Light Railways (LRT), and pedestrian / bicycle networks. This project is based on urban scale and the use of widerange development technology. It is neccesary to solve problem of human living space in urban contexts through form ideas by describing designs based on public functions, governance and space programs, design and concept issues in this project.

Background Tambora is a sub-district in West Jakarta which is famous for its densely populated population, making it the most populous region in Southeast Asia. Duri Station is in the center of the city of West Jakarta which is home to many people, especially residents in Tambora sub-district. Concept and building mass are inspired by two people sitting and talking as called kongkow. Ideas
Final Design
Kongkow is a Javanese word called nongkrong or hang out. Majority of the Tambora’s residents are newcomers and like hanging out in the afternoon.

In this academic interior project, students were asked to do a renovation of an existing kitchen in their house. Based on my house’s exterior style and users activities studies, I proposed a modern contemporary style for my renovated kitchen. I removed blue mosaic tiles by using lacquer doff to waterproof the wood.

The large number of migrants living in the capital is one of the reasons why slum dwellings occur along riverbanks or rivers, one of which is in Petogogan, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Petogogan is one of the villages in South Jakarta that has dense settlements along the Krukut River border. The majority of the people who live are migrants from outside DKI Jakarta. Petogogan has four main problems, which are: floods, the needs of occupants continue to change, the status of land ownership is uncertain, and limited land in addition to the increasing population. The selected site locations are Kampung Deret Petogogan (KDP) (RW 5) and Kampung Sawah (RW 1 and RW 3) which have great potential, social, modular systems in KDP, and Krukut Kali children’s border that can be utilized as a bridge of communal space to accommodate social activities. In order to accommodate low-income people to live and work in the central area of South Jakarta’s economic rotation, the type of building used in this design is Rusunawa.

In addition, the design approach used to address these problems is the communal space approach and the support and detachable unit method. Communal space is used on the bridge that connects the two towers, while the support and detachable units are used to provide an alternative unit layout that can change according to the needs of future residents through removable architectural components.

This project is a reflection of the modern social conditions of this phenomenon. During the internship programme, I was assigned to make the interior designs for family room, dining room and kitchen, master bedroom, and kids bedroom. I chose the color palette on the moodboard by considering the modern concept and the warmth feeling of a dwell house to the users in the future.

Located in Bandung, West Java, this cafe project is designed with a small cozy outdoor dining concept and industrial cafe look. By the use of an exposed concrete wall combined with metal accents, squared lines and block shapes, and teak wood creates a natural feel to make it an urban oasis. The clean lines suit the place and allow the customers and the delicious food and drink provided to make a real statement. 66
