Scary stuff…..it is and can be Our World and Our Lives are changing fast….

What does this all mean for our favorite past time and hobby...hot rodding? That is one great question!

As I write this, the World Health Organization just declared COVID19 or as its also known, Corona Virus is now a PANDEMIC.

Our passion is done in many different ways compared to schools and sports arena’s. Those venues put thousands of people together in very close proximity. Our hobby does not…. In the same way.

Here in our part of the USA, Vanderbilt University is clearing out the dorms and classes will all be on line for the foreseeable future. Other school systems are closed and using “snow days” and the up coming Spring Break period to further assess where to go next. The NCAA say the BIG SHOW will go on, but no fans in the stands and only the people that are absolutely needed will be in the area’s and venues where the games are to be played. The state of Washington mandated no gathering of more than 250 people at anyone time. Presidential candidate rallies are being cancelled for the foreseeable future

YES with the bigger events, large numbers of gearheads turn out to have a good time. The difference is we are not sitting one on top of each other in a packed area. Even though we are not packed into a stadium, we will still need to be careful while attending our favorite local or national event. Spread out a little more. Don’t go if you feel sick. Get well first. I hope, truly hope, that there is a lot more factual info in the next few days and weeks on this. This will allow folks to be safe, smart about how they do things, but yet have fun too. Sitting in your house staring out the window on a nice day is not fun.

Scary stuff…..it is and can be. All of these decisions that are not taken lightly, are hard to make, but done so in the way of safety for people.

2021 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport photos leaked online A few images of the 2021 Ford Bronco leaked online Monday, showing the new SUV in two- and four-door body styles. The photos were posted to the Juggernaut Facebook account.

Photos of the smaller Bronco Sport model made their way online Monday, as well, from the Bronco Six forum's Instagram account, originally published on the Bronco Sport Forum. These leaked photos arrive a few weeks ahead of the Bronco's official debut, which is expected to take place this month. The Bronco Sport, meanwhile, is tipped to bow at the New York Auto Show in April.(now pushed back to fall due to Corona Virus Concerns) There have been no shortage of rumors regarding the 2021 Bronco, so to recap, here's what is known: The Bronco might be powered by the 2.3-liter turbo I4 found in the Ranger pickup, and a hybrid could be coming, too. A 10-speed automatic transmission is likely, and a seven-speed manual transmission is rumored. Removable doors and a removable top are almost certain, as evidenced by these leaked photos. While the Bronco itself will ride on a body -on-frame platform, the smaller Bronco Sport will use a unibody construction borrowed from other Ford products. Though we have reason to believe these images are authentic, Ford will not officially confirm or deny their validity. "We don't speculate on future product," a Ford spokesperson said. 6

NO...youâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;re not seeing double. The 1963 Impala wagon known as IMPRESSIVE did it again! It won the 2020 LEGEND CUP a the 58th Annual Chicago World Of Wheels Show.

Impressive was fresh off of winning the 2020 RDLER Award in Detroit, when it rolled into the Donald P Stephens Convention center in Rosemont IL With the caliber of vehicles in the hunt for the Legend Cup, it truly is IMPRESSIVE that the home built 1963 Chevrolet Impala Station Wagon took the win for the Legend Cup in 2020. IMPRESSIVE is more then just shiny black paint, that is razor straight. With so many changes to the original four door station wagon it started out as, it is an engineering marvel. The other great thing about this vehicle is the people that built it and are showing it. Some of the nicest folks you could meet. Proud but humble. Check out last weeks issue for all the specs and full story on IMPRESSIVE, as we wont repeat that here. What we will repeat for you is another look at this awesome vehicle built by Brad, Brady and Cory Ranweiler of New Ulm MN.

Saturday morning at the Chicago Worlds of Wheels show is and exciting time for six lucky car owners. It is the time when they find out that they have made the cut and are in the running for the Legend Cup. They first had to reach the TOP TWENTY on Friday night. That in itself at a show like the Chicago World of Wheels is impressive in itself. With over 800 cars in the show this year, making the TOP TWENTY cut is truly an honor. When you make the SELCT SIX, then the scrutiny by the Legend Cup judging team kicks into high gear. Every part of the vehicle is looked at and looked over in great detail. The vehicle owners are asked to tell the judging team about their vehicle. What makes it special? What did they do to the car to make it stand out and why did they do that are just a few of the questions owners and car builders are asked.
