“it’s the GOLDEN RULE…”

Where did respect for one another disappear to...

Have you noticed how lately the world and country has become a meaner place?

Having started the 65th lap around the sun, I can say back when I was younger (no jokes now) there was a

lot more RESPECT for each other.

These days, based on my observations and discussions, a lot of people seem to get mad and disrespect another person if they don’t agree with their point of view. There are long time friends who are no longer friends because of this, and in my opinion this is a very sad situation.

More these days then ever before, the going on’s in Washington DC drives some of these behaviors.

Again, my opinion but if you are letting DC politics drive your friendships...well you are going to be mad and possibly lonely. Pick your party or color, it doesn't matter.

I do believe that you get respect when you give respect. It is a two way street.

I wish more people were like most

hot rodders and car people. We talk to each other nicely, we help each other, always there for each other. YES there are a few exceptions to this but 98% of car people are this way.

As my parents taught me, it’s the GOLDEN RULE...if you don’t what it is look it up and follow it... “Drive ’Em Don’t Hide ’Em”
