Komfi will present its new Rhea vacuumpacked mattress collection at the Bed Show, alongside the Active and Sensory ranges, which were launched in 2020. Visitors to stand E40 can also discover more about the brand’s eco-evolution in mattress design, which features a number of innovations for a more sustainable future.

Launched in May, the Rhea collection starts at the entry-level Eco Graduate, and runs up to the sumptuous Natural Pocket 5000. Key design components include Komfi’s Ecofoam and Ecoadvance technologies, plus a wool, silk and cashmere comfort layer, and supportive individual pocket springs.

Komfi’s Ecofoam is produced from 100%-recycled and re-engineered foam, and features throughout the Active and Rhea collections, while Ecoadvance is unique to the Rhea range. This state-ofthe-art material provides a superior level of comfort and support, says Komfi – the

unique blend of fibres allows moisture and air to flow freely, offering “excellent” temperature regulation. Ecoadvance is a foam alternative and 100% fully recyclable at the end of its life, and, in turn, can be upcycled into other products.

The Rhea collection also features two exclusive models, the Carbon Neutral Deluxe and Superior, which have been developed after working closely with Carbon Footprint. The Rhea models also feature chemical-free probiotic Purotex covers, and the carbon-neutral mattresses have been designed with fabric using Seaqual yarn, which is produced from upcycled plastic ocean waste. “Together, the Komfi Active, Sensory and Rhea collections offer a choice of more than 20 models, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to see what’s new in more eco-friendly and sustainable mattress design,” states Komfi.

The ranges will feature a combination of Aurora Foam for more supportive sleep and memory foam for added comfort. Toppers in zoned designs to aid support and airflow, and pillows to offer

correct alignment, will complement the collections. Whether a firm, medium or soft feel, Carpenter says it can create a unique sensation for every customer.

Luxurious roll-packed mattresses are also part of the selection, offering different feels within the mattresses, easily recyclable layers, fabrics and new profiles, all designed to deliver a more comfortable night’s sleep.
