Kündig’s news includes the launch of the all-new Master

Kündig used the Ligna show in Germany as a platform to unveil the all-new Kündig Master which sports new livery, has the latest Sigmatek touchscreen industrial controller and now has a very generous working height of 200mm.

This all-new machine supersedes the original Master and integrates many of the features associated with the higher-level machines. The original Kündig Master proved very popular and was one of Kündig’s best-selling machines, especially in the UK where several fire door manufacturers use them for calibrating followed by veneer sanding.

The new Kündig Perfect was also on display showing the advantages of oblique sanding against traditional style sanding machines along with examples from Kündig’s Technic series which are bespoke ‘made to measure’ sanding solutions and clearly demonstrate the vast amount of experience and ‘know how’ when it comes to individual sanding requirements.

In further news, Matthew Staley has joined Kündig and will be responsible for the service, installation and maintenance of all Kündig machines throughout the UK and Ireland. Matthew is already very experienced with Kündig machines and will also carry out the installation of new machines in other countries when required. He has already spent several weeks at the Kündig Switzerland and Kündig Germany manufacturing sites building machines as part of Kündig’s ongoing training and development program.

Kündig UK have also just moved to a new modern headquarters where there will be several machines on display from both the wide belt and edge sander series which will be available for demonstration. The new headquarters will also be the main administration hub for the UK and Irelands sales, technical requirements, spare parts and where abrasives will be kept to support all Kündig machines.
