Rehau shows its ‘passion for colour’

REHAU is once again inspiring furniture manufacturers, carpenters, architects and everyone involved in interior design with its latest colour collection, ‘Passion for colour 2023’.

This collection is a real feast for the senses: six colours ranging from warm, earthy Curcuma Gold to fiery Chilli Red and a soft Vanilla tone. They have been developed to appeal to all the senses and to set the stage for creative design freedom.

Launched in May 2023, initially on the company’s RAUVISIO noir board range, the experts from REHAU will show how interiors can be designed using the six colour shades from ‘Passion for colour’ – either combined with each other for effect or as strong colours on their own.

“Passion for colour is a collection that tells stories”, says Juliane Hoffmann, Specialist Marketing, Interior Solutions Division. “Stories that stimulate the imagination and convey emotion. We want to inspire our customers to create extraordinary projects. This year, the journey brings us to the world of spices. Our colours stimulate the senses, and not only can you see them but, with a little imagination and closed eyes, you can even smell and taste them.”

How could anyone who has visited a Jaipur spice market or a souk in Marrakech ever forget the colours and scents there? REHAU brings this sensory explosion to the inside of the home with ‘Passion for colour’. The collection consists of six different colour shades. The spectrum ranges from harmonious Curcuma Gold to elegant Pepper Grey and summery Vanilla Cream. Each shade works on its own or can be combined with the other shades in the collection or with different materials. The references to nature and the warmth the colours radiate fit perfectly into the current zeitgeist.

“We notice how people long for places of retreat where they feel safe and secure”, says Linda Maglione, Product Management Furniture Components at REHAU. “That’s why we have focused on natural, warm colour tones that harmoniously blend into interior designs of which you will never tire.”

With the ‘Passion for colour 2023’ collection, REHAU is once again demonstrating its claim to be “Enabling Exceptional Design” by offering its customers impetus for their design ideas.

The colours of the collection will initially be available for the surface material RAUVISIO noir, which particularly impresses with its classic matt finish and velvety soft feel. With its anti-fingerprint protection, the robust Hire Pressure Laminate (HPL) surface is easy to clean and highly resistant to scratches. The low light reflection ensures that the colour tones are shown at their best, even at a flat angle.

The colours of the ‘Passion for colour 2023’ collection will also be available on the RAUVISIO brilliant classic matt surfaces. This more budget- friendly RAUVISIO variant can be combined perfectly with RAUVISIO noir: RAUVISIO noir for horizontal surfaces that are most frequently used and RAUVISIO brilliant classic matt for vertical surfaces.
