Cantisa impresses at Interzum with creative and thoughtful edging offer

How did you find the interzum, was it as busy as you expected?

Interzum 2023 has proved once again to be the leading international trade fair for furniture production. Following the success of previous editions, and the positive feedback from our customers, Interzum has become for us not only an excellent platform to showcase our products and new developments, but also the meeting place, in which the best customers from around the world come together.

What is Cantisa doing in the way of sustainability and helping the environment as it is an important discussion?

First of all, Cantisa only acquires veneers from sustainable and legal sources: we are an FSC-certified manufacturer.

Also, we have improved the management of waste in our production sites, by using selective collection in special containers, ensuring thus its correct management. Finally, where possible, we are actively reducing packaging of our products.

What are your new innovations?

Cantisa’s aim is to help interior designers and furniture manufacturers to choose an edgeband that gives to their projects an innovative and avantgarde look. Our Décor Programme collection has been one of the main attractions at this Interzum’s edition. We’ve dared our customer to break the rules and create unique designs with a large selection of trendy edge banding. Based on the rock-paper-scissors game which, with some modifications, was turned into Rock-Metal-VeneerShoot!: rock for stone designs, paper for veneer designs, and scissors for the trendy metal designs. www.cantisa.es

We’ve highlighted our Interzum’s awarded grid effect edgeband, as one of the most real designs in Décor Programme. A refined interplay of tone-on-tone effect, synchronized with a deep grill embossing that adds dynamism and uniqueness to furniture pieces.

We’ve presented the synchronised mosaic edgeband, an eye-catching detail for elegant interior projects to make a wow effect.

Also, seeking excellence, we’ve launched our new digitally printed edgebands, that copy to perfection any design and texture. The use of this technology ensures us a highquality finish, as well as many more advantages.

Over its five-day run, from 15-19th May, LIGNA 2023, the world’s leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing featured a plethora of innovations, inspiration and networking.
