GRAEME BASE INVISIBLE WOMEN? LOVE OF LIFE FOR SENIORS COVER IMAGE TAKEN FROM THE LAST KING OF ANGKOR WAT BY GRAEME BASE, TO BE PUBLISHED BY PENGUIN IN OCTOBER

WELCOME TO OUR LIBRARIES Skip the Spring-cleaning and launch into the warmer months with a celebration of ideas and learning at your local library. We are fortunate to be welcoming two of Australia’s children’s literature superstars, Andy Griffiths and Graeme Base, to entertain and inspire us with their latest adventures in storytelling. We are also hosting some thoughtprovoking speakers to talk about issues such as social identity and belonging as well as a conversation about gender inequality and women’s right to occupy more space in the world. October delivers a special treat for seniors, with Love of Life, a Pop-up Festival where topics range from sexuality to true crime and gardening – something for everyone!

Unless specified, events are free of charge, however, places are limited.
