The Flam Family
heritage “We are devoted to producing the best possible wines, balanced and elegant, with a local soul
The winery was established in 1998 by Golan, Gilad Flam and their mother Kami, with the vision of producing wine at the highest international quality. Golan and Gilad absorbed their love for wine from their father, Israel, one of the country’s wine industry pioneers. Harnessing her business experience, their mother, Kami, has contributed greatly to its development. The younger sister, Gefen, joined in to add her fresh, innovative approach. The unique combination of accumulated family knowledge of winemaking experience, and never-ending passion for wine has placed the Flam family as the first wine family of Israel.

Surrounded by vineyards, the winery is located at the heart of the picturesque Judean Hills around Jerusalem and operates in the classic European Family Estate model.
The Vineyards
soil
We believe that the quest for every good wine starts in the vineyard. Our vineyards are planted in the Upper Galilee and the Judean Hills, in the best parcels for growing wine grapes. In all our parcels we insist of a very low yield-acre ratio. The variety of soils of our private vineyard, which Golan oversees personally, contributes to the creation of fierce and intense wines that reflect the renewed tradition of Mediterranean winemaking.
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. A fresh, crisp and fruity wine, with an unoaked style that gives the freshness and the fruit of the Judean Hills centre stage. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats in order to preserve the aromas and typical fruit flavours.
A blend of of Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Floral and Scented, with a fresh, peachy fruitiness and subtle seasoning. Crisp with a sour hint with a long spicy, impressively mineral fruity finish.
- Grapes varietals vary from year to year.
“Incepted during a visit to the Rhone valley, the idea soon flourished in the upper Galilee, resulting with a wine of great balance and concentration.” - Golan Flam
“It’s a wine for any kind of mood, one that is a joy to drink on the balcony, but one that is first and foremost a food wine.”- Golan Flam

Our Family Cellar
ageing potential
We’ve made a habit, throughout the years, of keeping a few bottles of every vintage for ageing in the winery’s cellar. Time does wonders to our wines. The traditional practices in the vineyards and classical winemaking doctrines that Golan follows give the Flam wines an impressive ageing potential. The bottles rest in our deep cellar, continue to slowly develop in optimal conditions.
