How can a man who once was a sum just have no hand?
How can a choice lose so much and yet so little of the whole?
Nothing remains- yet there is a majority
Does it matter more that it hurt or that it will slowly grind at patience and understanding later?
That others will not think- this must work for him too. Or that they will study the floor when he’s
near- his eyes, his mouth, not the nothing that lies at the end of his wrist.
