SUB-BALLAST™ Cable Ballast Modules

SUB-BALLAST™ Cable Ballast Modules are utilised on-board cable installation vessels during the omega lay deployment of SUB-SRJ™ Subsea Repair Joints.

The SUB-BALLAST™ Cable Ballast Modules provide a counter-balance weight during the over boarding and deployment of SUB-SRJ™ Subsea Repair Joints.

In addtion, SUB-BALLAST™ Cable Ballast Modules are also installed upon light weight Thermoplastic Composite Pipes (TCP) to increase the TCP on-bottom stability coefficient / on-seabed stability coefficient.

Furthermore, SUB-BALLAST™ Cable Ballast Modules can also be used in other subsea operations where an increase of submerged mass is required to providing increased subsea stability.
