SUB-VSS™ Vortex Shedding Sleeves

SUB-VSS™ Vortex Shedding Sleeves are utilised to manipulate current flow around a pipeline which, unless managed, can result in vibration due to vortex shedding.

The frequency of this vibration can become close to the natural frequency of the pipe, which could consequently fatigue or damage the pipeline.

SUB-VSS™ Vortex Shedding Sleeves are offered in several solutions to suppress Vortex Induced Vibration (VIV), including polyurethane VIV strakes, roto-moulded strakes and thermoformed strakes.
