The San Antonio river has had a great impact on our community and to recognize its role Gemini Ink has partnered with the San Antonio River Foundation to teach kids about the world of zine and world of community reflection. Through these two 4-day sessions the students were engulfed in all aspects of art, including making mini zines, practicing photography, writing, drawing, etc. Session one, grades four through five, began July 6th and ended July 9th. Session two involved grades six through eight and began July 13th and ended July 16th. In this collection of Quarantine River Zines, the beautiful works, and interesting insights about what the San Antonio River means to them can be enjoyed!
