HOME-MADE PRODUCTIVE HOUSING + MARKET COMPLEX Yamuna River Project, Rajasthan Cities: Jaipur Advanced Research Studio // Fall 2020 Rhino 6.0, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
India’s % GDP per industry (2016)
Problem: Many Jaipur residents are manufacturers, who struggle with long production-supply chains. Outside of shopping and sight-seeing, tourists have limited exposure to local culture. Project: To optimize commerce for local artisans, this productive housing complex doubles as an interactive market where tourists can browse ground floor market stands, and maybe even paint some ceramics themselves.

THE BLOCK MIXED-USE RESIDENTIAL Radical Domesticities for 21stc. Urban Life in Charlottesville, VA Architecture Studio // Spring 2019 Rhino 6.0, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Laser-cutting Problem: Minority and low-income social communities are often ignored in the conversation about urbanization in the Charlottesville Downtown neighborhood. Project: To better integrate a residential development into the existing site context, mixed-income tenants, food and retail programs, and an activated recreational ground floor blur the distinction between privileged space and shared community space.

CAN YOU GET TO WORK? CARTOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS A Graphic User’s Guide to Brooklyn, NYC Architecture Studio // Fall 2019 ArcMap, Grasshopper, Excel, Rhino 6.0, Illustrator, InDesign Problem: Brooklyn is one of the most culturally diverse places in the United States, yet it suffers from deeply unequal social conditions. This economic index of demographic census data aims to spatialize controversial patterns. Project: Using four investigative lenses, Population, Housing, Work, and Transit, these categorical frameworks establish a model for visual analysis that can be implemented to study any urban area.

PL. LOGO DESIGN LOGO + BRAND GUIDE Pamela Lindeback, Interior Design Summer 2020 Illustrator, Pinterest, Adobe + Google Fonts Problem: An interior designer wants to shed the corporate life and start her own business. The challenge of entrepreneurship is not only branding but broader self-definition (discovery). Project: A collaborative Pinterest board guided our conversation about what her logo should represent. Pam’s brand is still evoloving, sometimes stretching beyond this guide, but she returns to this foundation when designing her own graphics.

ALUMNI VIRTUAL CHATS GRAPHIC MARKETING Program for Creative Arts, Media & Design Career Community Fall 2019 Illustrator, PowerPoint, Instagram, Google Hangout Problem: To combat the stigma that creative majors won’t find work after they graduate, I coordinated a series of virtual chats to educate and inspire creative students about post-graduate opportunities. Project: After reaching out to alums on LinkedIn and finalizing the schedule, I created a collection of graphic advertisements. For each event, I welcomed students into the space and facilitated the conversation with prepared questions. A few students created long-term mentor relationships with these alumni after the series, which is a marker of success to me! print poster (11x17)

Live in Newcomb 170: Each chat was hosted in Newcomb Hall, a central hub for students at UVA. Starting each chat at 12pm essentially created a virtual lunch-and-learn scenario, which is most convenient for students passing through to grab some food from the dining room upstairs.
