Half of those who are reading this article were born with technology in their hands and used to a digital transformation as fact. The other half are those who witnessed the computer age come without asking permission. It kicked down the door and transformed what we did in books, on paper or at primitive computer terminals that could barely respond to alphanumeric records and linear graphics. It is simply fascinating to discover the BIM-focused software currently does, with realtime rendering, each connected with geospatial context, responding to business processes linked to interfaces operated on mobile phones, is the evidence of how far the industry was able to go in understanding, and meeting the user’s needs.
