In a beautiful garden in Rio de Janeiro lived a parrot whose name was Silver Beak. It was a wonderful bird; its feathers were of the color of the rainbow, its eyes were sapphire blue but the most amazing thing was its cur ved silver beak. Even if it was so nice the parrot was really sad because he couldn’t stammer nor talk like all of its friends. His friends was kidding with him he went really sad and started to live alone. When he was travelling he saw a beautiful budgie whose eyes are green as emeralds and her feathers are as blue as diamonds. T hen they became good friends. T he budgie taught him to talk. T hey decided to meet with the Silver Beak’s friends because he wanted to show them that he caould talk.

While returning home they found other friends. First they saw strange bird. Who are you? They asked. I am a hoatzin. They watched in amazement as their Young climbed the tree with claws, which were in their wings. They asked: what happen to you? You seem scared. The hoatzin answered: there many dangers in the jungle. We are very few of our species. We have to be alert. During their return jorney they´d meet new friends and have many adventures. The silver beak was really happy because he could talk now because of the budgie. But on they‘r way home the Silver beak, the budgie and they‘r new friend, the Hoatzin, saw a tiger in the jungle that was going to eat them. The silver beak and the hoatzin teased the tiger a little bit. Then the tiger bit the silver beaks wing and he was hurt. The hoatzin called for help and the big owl came and flew with the silver beak and his new friends to his old friends. The tiger was ashamed and he left. As the Big Owl, the Silver Beak, Hoatzin and Budgie were flying towards the jungle, high up in the sky a golden eagle was watching them with surprise. A flock of such different birds travelling together. He joined them. Silver Beak’s old friends in the jungle were also astonished. So much love from the strangers!! They regretted and they became friends. Each bird was singing and they learnt that friendship unites every creature with love! First primary school of Aliartos GREECE
