FIRŠT COMPANY PROFILE – GENERAL The history of this successful company dates back to 1975 when Mr. and Mrs. FIRŠT, started their first workshop in Radegunda at Mozirje. They soon installed state-of-the-art equipment to enable production of all necessary components of the products manufactured by FIRŠT in those early days. The first major step for the workshop was the development of actuators for grill ovens for Gorenje household appliances. Alongside development and investment, innovation and development of own products grew as well, which enabled FIRŠT to make their mark on the demanding European market. Today, FIRŠT boasts a new fabrication plant in Velenje, which allows coordinated production of more than 50 different products under own brand name. All these products are a result of own know-how, R&D projects and experience. FIRŠT has its own R & D section developing numerous state-of-the-art innovations some of which have also been patented. FIRŠT is gradually becoming a more and more renowned manufacturer of control elements for heating systems in Slovenia and abroad. At the same times we are also becoming an increasingly important supplier of own products to numerous European manufacturers of heating systems. Such ambitions, however, call for good equipment, consistent compliance with many stringent requirements imposed by foreign markets, use of environmentally friendly materials, and ensuring quantities, delivery terms and high quality of supplied products. We have been successfully meeting those demands due to our organisation of production, state-ofthe-art equipment, ongoing investment into new skills and equipment, and last not least due to the expertise, qualifications and motivation of all our employees. At FIRŠT, we are well aware that our customers’ expectations are growing on a daily basis. Consequently, features and the presentation of finished products are being tailored to customer wants and needs. In addition, we also carry out regular and comprehensive evaluations of applicability and quality of FIRŠT products. It is precisely due to our many years of experience with all the regulations of the European market that we were ready for Slovenia’s accession to the European Union. Our products have been certified by the national Institute of Slovenian Quality as well as by the European notified bodies TÜV and VDE. All of our products have been designed and manufactured in accordance with international standards and certified by European institutions, and comply with the provisions of Low-Voltage Directive, as well as electromagnetic compatibility. Our product range includes the following groups of products: room thermostats, differential thermostats, control panels for home heating appliances, electric motor operated brass mixing- and control valves, electric motor actuators for 3 point and modulating control, two and three-way ball valves with electromotor actuator, electromotor valves for special applications: for cooling mediums, with modulation control, with inbuilt timer and featuring different power supply voltages. We also manufacture motors for butterfly valves and actuators for grill ovens. Product quality and customer confidence are also evident from our references, which include demanding Slovenian and foreign customers, and numerous international awards received for our products. FIRŠT products excel by their wide range of application for industrial purposes as well as specific applications. In particular, this is the case when it comes to irrigation systems, central heating systems – also in combination with solar panels, cooling systems, or in the supply and distribution of liquid mediums in more complex industrial processes. They can be used in infinite combinations and provide users with optimum control over the consumption of energy or water, over temperature or any other parameters the user wants to control. Education and training of own staff and associates is a priority at FIRŠT. For each basic system layout, specific adjustments are already stored. Valve is available in dimensions from DN15 up to DN32mm with internal threaded connection. Mixing valves are suitable for long-lasting operation because of special construction of sealing. VI. THERMIC MIXING VALVES Cast iron thermic valve T-MIX The 3-way thermic valve T-MIX is designed to load storage tanks at solid fuel systems. The valve brings a higher return temperature to the boiler; meaning increased efficiency through, reduced tar formation and a longer life for the boiler by minimizing condense of flue gases. Operation: Typical application is in heating installation where solid fuel boiler is used to feed storage tank. The Thermic valve T-MIX will protect the boiler from low return temperatures. Valve is installed in the return line (45°C, 55°C, 65°C). Port 1 and 3 are always open, which enables circulation in boiler as well as higher return temperature. The higher return temperatures to the boiler means reduced tar formation and minimized condense of flue gases which prevents premature corrosion of the boiler. The possibility of thermal shock due to the return of cold water from the system is also reduced. The valve can be mounted in any position.

VII. COMPACT ROTARY ACTUATOR WITH CAST IRON MIXING VALVES EUROMIX G F3, EUROMIX G F4 EUROMIX is a compact version of electric motor operator UNI 3P and cast iron mixing valve ROTOMIX G. Mixing valve is made of cast iron with internal threads from 3/4” to 2”. Because of its flow characteristics, and specially crafted sealing, they are suitable for long-term operation in heating installations, especially in systems with solid fuel boilers. Features: • Actuator has a fixed rotation (90°) • Possibility of manual override with button on actuator cover (gear is disengaged for as long the button is locked). • Output electric signal (L) at the end position of the actuator (circulation pump control) and premounted auxiliary switches at both end positions.

Diverter valve DIVERT G FL3 is made from cast iron and is designed for use in heating applications. Valve is available in dimensions from DN20 up to DN40mm with internal thread connection. Diverter valve switches between two heating sources. This combination ensures utilisation of cheaper energy source. When this source is consumed, reversible valve switches to the second energy source and with limit switches, which are in the actuator, activates the second energy source. The flow through the pump is never completely closed by F3L reversible valve, therefore no pressure shocks appear.
In combination with â&#x20AC;&#x153; ROTOTERM MR-NPâ&#x20AC;? automatic control system of the house this separating valve enables heating of a residential unit and sanitary water with just one pump, where sanitary water has priority. The flow through the pump is never completely closed by ROTODIVERT diverter valve, therefore no pressure shocks appear.
