For over 100 years, Georgetown Men’s Basketball has united students, alumni and fans, while proudly representing the University around the world. It has become the face of the University, raising Georgetown’s profile and providing fans with a sense of community and pride. Memories of BIG EAST Championships, Final Fours, early season tournaments, hard fought regular season battles, and humbling games played before our troops last a lifetime and unite us all. Simply stated, Georgetown Men’s Basketball is the rock that keeps us connected to the University and to one another, fostering a special camaraderie as we cheer, Hoya Saxa and We Are Georgetown! What Is the Hoya Hoop Club? The Hoya Hoop Club (HHC) is the support club for Georgetown Men’s Basketball. The HHC helps you stay connected to Georgetown, offers you a special opportunity to play a direct role in the program’s success, and provides you with unique and exclusive membership benefits. Created and run by alumni and fans, each dollar raised by the HHC directly supports the men’s basketball program and may be designated for:

Annual program needs, such as equipment, travel, video software and other operational costs – all integral to the success of the program (through The Annual Fund for Georgetown Athletics in support of men’s basketball).

Our new training facility (the Intercollegiate Athletics Center) – the essential tool for providing our coaches and athletes the best opportunity to succeed in an increasingly competitive environment.

Scholarships for student athletes – the catalyst for recruiting new and qualified talent.

Since 1979, the HHC has grown from 77 members donating $5,000 a year, to our current fan base of approximately 2,000 members donating $1.9 million annually. While this growth is significant, less than three percent of Georgetown undergraduate alumni donated to the Annual Fund for Georgetown Athletics in support of men’s basketball last year. For Georgetown to continue to compete at the highest levels of college basketball, we need to do much better.

If you don’t live in DC, when the Hoyas travel to your hometown, you will be eligible for tickets in HHC sections and exclusive pre- and post-game events. Tickets for early season destination tournaments, such as the 2014 Battle 4 Atlantis, are also available to HHC members.
