Aidan Kohn-Murphy ’22 was recognized on the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the social media category for his work as a political organizer and founder of Gen-Z for Change, a coalition of social media creators who support progressive causes.
Ethan Slater ’10 has been cast as Boq, opposite Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, in the bigscreen adaptation of “Wicked.” Noah Robbins ’09 joined the cast of Apple’s Project Artemis, starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum.
In August 2022, the U.S. Senate confirmed Nina Morrison ’88 as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Morrison is the second openly LGBTQ+ judge in the Eastern District.

Two Augur Bit artists were recognized by the National Scholastic Press Association. Julius BoxerCooper ’22 won third place in the Cartoon of the Year category for Chadwick the Cheerio Applies to College Nava Mach ’23 received an honorable mention for Artist of the Year, placing her among the top ten of High School journalism artists.
Zaira Chowdhury ’23 was one of 50 artistic scholars whose portfolio was showcased in the 2022 AP Art and Design Digital Exhibit, marking the first time a GDS art student has won this distinction. Zaira’s portfolio, selected from thousands of entries, featured powerful images documenting the end of her grandmother’s life.
