Dear Bobcat, Welcome to the family! We are so glad that you have chosen Georgia College, and we want you to know how excited we are about all the great things in store for you here. It is our mission to connect you to the opportunities, people and resources that will help you make this your new home away from home and thrive as you progress. Plus, there are some really great ways to get involved here at Georgia College, and we want to help you connect to them! So, please help us by taking the Get Connected Survey that will be sent to you via email. Tell us all about the things you like to do and the ways you want to get involved. Then, we can connect you to the resources, clubs and opportunities that are best matches to your interests.

Involved Get

rF aternity & Sorority Life

Exemplifying core values of scholarship, leadership, service and friendship, fraternities and sororities at Georgia College are a great way to get involved both on campus and within the community.

Recreational Sports

Constructed in 2011, the $28.2 million Wellness & Recreation Center is home to many of our Intramural and Club Sports and is a one-stop shop for all students’ health and wellness needs. GC boasts 90 Intramural Leagues, 20+ Intramural Sports variations and 2,300+ participants.

GIVE Center

The GIVE Center serves students with an interest in volunteering in their community, working with a variety of organizations.

Cultural Center

The Georgia College Cultural Center embraces diversity and offers support for our underrepresented student populations through programs, services and enrichment opportunities.

Spiritual & aF ith-Based Groups

Local places of worship offer fellowship and special programs for GC students in addition to weekly services. Our 13 active student organizations showcase the variety of religions represented by the GC student body.


Performing Arts Our Department of Music and Department of Theatre and Dance provide majors, minors and performance opportunities to all GC students regardless of area of study. The state-of-the-art performance facilities include historic Russell Auditorium, Max Noah Recital Hall and the Campus Black Box Theatre.

Women’s Center The Women’s Center at Georgia College provides opportunities to get involved in activities and discussions that challenge gender-based oppression.

Outdoors GC students have incredible opportunities for field-based learning or enjoying a beautiful natural environment. East Campus features wetlands, forests, trails and Lake Laurel. Our Outdoor Center provides training, recreation education, group development and leadership trainings.

LGBTQ+ Programs GC’s LGBTQ+ Programs provide educational opportunities, allyship training and a variety of support services in a place where all can feel safe, affirmed and free to determine their sexual, gender and relationship identities.

International Club The International Club assists students with learning about and appreciating other cultures. The Club hosts many events throughout the year, including the International Dinner that has been going strong for 34 years now.
