2020 Bulldog PRO SIGNEES Emerson Hancock Tucker Bradley

*Joined elite company in 2020 when he became only the fourth student-athlete in the history of the University of Georgia to earn First Team Academic All-America honors and be a First Round draft pick in his sport. *A 6-4, 213-pound junior righthander from Cairo, Ga. *Named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) First Team Academic AllAmerica Team. *A sports management major, he was the first Bulldog baseball player to be named to the First Team and the seventh overall to earn Academic All-America honors. *In the 2020 Major League Baseball Draft, the Seattle Mariners selected Hancock with the sixth overall pick of the first round. *Became the highest drafted Bulldog since pitcher Derek Lilliquist went sixth overall to Atlanta in 1987. *The 11th Bulldog in school history to be selected in the first round. *Joined fellow Cairo native Bill Stanfill (football, 1968 Academic All-American, Miami Dolphins, 11th pick in 1969), Alec Kessler (basketball, 1988-90 Academic All-American, Miami Heat, 12th pick in 1990) and Matt Stinchcomb (1997-98 Academic All-American, Oakland Raiders, 18th pick in 1999) who were First Team Academic All-Americans and First Round draft picks produced by UGA. *Bulldog Career Statistics: 16-7 record with a 3.47 ERA in 33 appearances, all starts. He tallied 206 strikeouts and 55 walks in 192 innings. In 2020, he was 2-0 with a 3.75 ERA in four starts. Hancock earned consensus All-America honors as a sophomore in 2019 after posting an 8-3 mark and 1.99 ERA.

Cole Wilcox

*Selected by the San Diego Padres in the third round of the Major League Baseball Draft. *A 6-5, 232-pound sophomore from Chickamauga, Ga., he was the 80th overall pick in tthe 2020 draft. *Wilcox had the team’s top grade point average in 2020 and was its Southeastern Conference Scholar-Athlete nominee. *Moved into Georgia’s starting rotation in 2020 after earning Freshman AllSEC honors. He followed that up with a standout summer with the 2019 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. *Bulldog Career Statistics: In two seasons, Wilcox posted a 6-2 record with a 3.38 ERA in 23 appearances including 10 starts. Wilcox earned second team All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball in 2020 after going 3-0 with a 1.57 ERA. He had 32 strikeouts and just two walks in 23 innings. *Signed as a free agent with the Kansas City Royals. *A 6-0, 201-pound left-handed hitting outfielder from Chickamauga, Ga., *Bulldog Career Statistics: Appeared in 119 games with 115 starts in the outfield. Bradley posted a torrid start in 2020, batting .397 with six home runs, 23 RBI and eight stolen bases through the first 18 games of the season. He was a career .316 hitter with 14 doubles, nine home runs and 62 RBI. He finished 27-for-33 in stolen bases. *A four-year member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll. *In May of 2020, graduated with a

degree in Sport Management.

Cam Shepherd

*Signed as a free agent with the Atlanta Braves. *A 6-1, 181-pound righthanded hitter from Peachtree Ridge, Ga. *A Gold Glove-winning shortstop, he started all 198 games since his arrival on the UGA campus in 2017. *Owns the Georgia single season and career record for fielding by a shortstop. *In 2019, he set the season mark at .987 and was named to the Southeastern Conference All-Defensive Team and received a Gold Glove from the ABCA/Rawlings as the nation’s top shortstop in Division 1. *Became the first shortstop in the SEC to go the entire 30-game league schedule and not make an error since the league began an All-Defensive Team in 2008. *A four-year member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll *In May of 2020, graduated with a degree in sport management. *Bulldog Career Statistics: Batted .261 with 45 doubles, five triples, 22 home runs, 119 RBI and 21 stolen bases. *A career fielding record mark of .970 in 834 total chances.
