How to apply for Finanacial Aid Use the studentaid.gov website to create a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID and complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).The FAFSA serves as the initial application for all federal aid programs, including grants, loans and the federal work study program. In addition, it is one of the ways you can apply for the HOPE Scholarship. Students will be able to file a 2022-2023 FAFSA as early as October 1, 2021.
