Coming from a small country my goal has always been to seek new influences and opportunities a different country could offer me. I have already lived, studied and worked in Milan, Italy for almost 8 years. Italian culture has always been close to my philosophy; moreover Italy is the synonym of great architecture and innovative design. My wish is to have a challenging, demanding and rewarding career in Architecture and/or in Design, through which I can make a tangible difference in people’s lives. During my studies at Politecnico di Milano I had the opportunity to work as an Architect and Design Assistant. I also collaborated with several studios in Greece and in Italy; working in residential Design and Architecture, retail design, project design (specially lighting), architectural composition of public spaces. Politecnico and the Italian culture helped me develop a solid education background through my cooperation and interaction with individuals from the academic field. On the other hand, my non-stop collaboration with Architecture and Design Studios kept me active, interested and current as architect. On a personal level, I feel confident to work in all fields of Architecture, from interior residential or retail design and composition to bigger public or private projects and research. I am confident that through these years of experience I have gained sense of responsibility, time management, team leading, respect for my team and determination. Since the day I started working in 2008 I have been building my dream day by day. My life in Italy matured me as a person and helped me define my next challenge. Now I am asking for you to give me the opportunity to go one step further. I know I can be a perfect candidate for your company as I am willing to work hard, offer from my experience and also continue learn from others and develop. I am aware of the challenge before me. I will follow my mentors’ advice to seek knowledge, expand my potential and develop. I will devote every possible effort to grow my professional abilities for critical and creative thought and expression, acceptance of personal responsibility and commitment to you and to my beliefs. Thank you in advance for considering my application. Sincerely.

M.Arch Final Thesis Politecnico di Milano 2017 Mentioned by the Architects Association of Milan Participation at the “Roberto Spagnolo Exhibition
This thesis proposes a project for two of the most important archaeological sites in Athens: the Roman Agora and the Library of Hadrian. Designing in the archaeological field means working directly in the history, within the stratification itself; the architectural composition, in real contact with the ruins, implies not only profound knowledge but also a reconsideration of the ancient, which in its turn is projected into the new. The two sites to be examined are an exception to the almost casual urban layout of their nearby monuments. The primary aim of the project was to redefine the geometry of these two architectural works,, with the aim of re-linking the relationship between them and the city. In addition, we paid particular attention to the realization of a project that is not limited just to present itself, but on the contrary, it becomes the protagonist of a subversive action by dismantling the appearances.

FOR THE ACROPOLIS OF ATHENS
14/49
The Acropolis was born as an architecture: a set thought, discussed, designed and built, an architectural reality based on the principles of the ancient world. Today it is not only considered an archaeological site, but an architectural body still alive, in constant change and development. The intervention aims to identify a strategy that can bring back to this monumental site its own identity by bringing to light the origins of the Acropolis. It is necessary to perceive what the remaining ruins have been separated from, what has been denied from this absolute experience. We tried to find a balance between the historical aspect, evaluated and preserved, and contemporary architecture.

Landscape LAB Politecnico di Milano 2016
Our approach for the project of Mount Baldo, following the study and analysis on the theme “Routes and Settlements”, is to focus the project’s interest on the CAI 651 path, the dorsal hiking trail of the mountain. The accessibility of the 651 to the west (Garda lake), where only in one the ridge of the slope the trail allows visibility of the lake landscape, circumnavigating the highest points to an almost always lower proportion. The Ice Circles, formed over time, strongly characterize the massif along the west side, dominating the valley with overwhelming and majestic “semicircular craters”. Almost an architectural event with their natural form of “amphitheater”. In order to give relevance to the Circuses, we have defined the most interesting for strength and form.

Spazio Stanza is a project for the series Atmosphere., an initiative of Politecnico di Milano for the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2016. Spazio Stanza is an open air room. A place of calm inside the campus of Politecnico di Milano. It is not a piece of design to observe but mostly an experience. A spatial reservoir to live in through a direct experience of isolation.

IN EGYPT AND CHINA
32/49
The Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection Berlin is a part of the State Museums of Berlin and the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation. The Foundation is one of the world’s major cultural organisations and all her associated institutions, collections and archives are linked in a close network for cultural transmission. Our project is a walk through the various instants of both civilizations, Chinese and Egyptian. By introducing various forms of representations of the dynasties, some of the structures and mechanisms of the two cultures will be explained. Writing, Daily Life, Funerary Cult and last but not least Divine Cult. This last one, the Divine Cult is presented at the Greek Court of The Neues Museum, through a project that tends to underline verticality and lead the eyes towards the sky, in order to create an ecstatic experience.

Architecture Workshop Academia Adrianea 2015
This project is part of a series of Projects under the initiative of Academia Adrianea-Prix de Rome, for the rewriting of the via dei Fori Imperiali in Rome, Italy. This projects functions as a slab the over stands the various Roman fora, with the purpose to underline their limits and bring to light their true geometry. Today the via dei Fori Imperiali of Rome is standing above this enormous excavation which includes the fora as long as other important monumental architectures and it actually cancels their true character. Through this simple intervention we are going to get rid of any unnecessary element added over the past 100 years and bring to light antique traces and shapes. Last but not least the connection through boarer walks to the inferior level, makes this area a true open museum.

The project is one of the most contemporary interventions we have made based on the philosophy of living through the ancient ruins. With this project we tend to reunite the two levels and to bring life to the coast and the island of the Gaiola. Most of the work is dedicated on the various levels from the park to the coast, in order to reorganize the space through terraces and long, soft staircases that turn the approach of the coast into a true experience. Miradors have been placed in critical points in order to offer view towards the ancient villa of the island as well as towards the Naples gulf and Capri. By the coast a small complex of volumes includes the services for the beach and a long pier equipped properly in order to receive boats leads towards the island. From there, where one can arrive by boat, the rock has been designed in such a way to give easy access to the ancient villa through new terraces and levels.

The project proposal is inspired by Ron Gilad’s minimal installations and the junction system of three, which marks the company’s debut in the landscape of modern furniture. The path inside the Salon of Palazzo Isolani is marked by a sequence of asses in wood - made to match with each other. The vertical structure of rods is supported by brass plates with a layer of neoprene at the base, in order to favour a better adhesion to the floor. The structure can also, if need, support systems of lighting, such as LED strips or spot spotlights on a timely basis. The modular design definition allows endless combinatorial possibilities in relation to exhibiting needs. The result is a perfect blend between the idea of the Italian home - given by the atmosphere of the seventeenth-century Salon - and the quality of Made in Italy, a compendium of tradition and innovation.
