EVENT STYLING
So says Events & Concept stylist Jhei Capati, “ the venue itself already had the its signature rainforest ambiance so we decided to step away from lush greeneries and gave it a woodland-rustic look.” Capati wanted to show potential clients that with the right styling, the appropriate team will be able to completely transform any space, no matter how small, into an environment that they’ve never seen before. To further savor the special moments with close family ties, the group makes it sure to keep a private and heartfelt physical set-up.

HAIR & MAKE-UP
Clean, glossy and glamorous. Anna Tiglao Artistry maneuvers the fusion of classic strokes with dabs of modern beauty and forms the right mold of hairstyles for the private affair. The look was inspired by the rustic theme of the shoot. Making sure that it blended well with the set design, Anna Tiglao used shades of browns and mauves. They focused on the sultry eye makeup and defined cheeks with plumped lips. From sleek to loose curls, the muses’ hairstyles were patterned with the woodland mood.

CAKE ARTISTRY
A small but very intricate cake was created by the Cake Artist herself, Judy Uson, keeping the intimate feast’s theme in mind. All components were made edible, which has been Uson’s trademark as the cake will be served as part of the dessert for guests.

COUTURE
Handpicked by the Casa Moda couturier herself, Mich Viray chose gowns in shades of muted gold to match the woodland fantasy of the muses on the set. Meticulously, the creative pool purposely chose softer and more flexible fabrics as the venue is small with the aim to allow the models to emote and move freely.

GRAZES
Since there are fewer guests, the marriage of the grazing spread into the floral arrangement of the main dining table was fit for the occasion. Not only does it add visual value to the setting, it is also a practical decision since guests won’t have to get up from their seats to sample the freshness and crisp of the banquet. Corea & Co.’s Cori Chua personally brings in the magic with her custom fruit platters and grazing boards which are crafted wholeheartedly.

LIGHTS
Minimal light were used to bring out the natural mood of the theme. Lights in shades of amber were also used to further highlight the rustic feel of the venue. The ever reliable technical party supplier MJ Audio Lights and Sounds are hands-on when it comes to establishing a literally and figurative well lit formation.

VENUE & CATERING
For a smaller crowd, the obvious choice is a sit-down dinner with the meal served to the table per course. This way, guests can remain seated throughout the dinner service to keep within the physical distancing guidelines. Chef Leonard Vincent Garcia, the multihyphenated owner of Rainforest Kichene opens his doors and premium services for those who would like to cherish their moments through an exclusive dining experience.
