Continuous Card Payment is when the Payment comes off your card every month when due and a â‚Ź0.75 charge applies to this method. We do not take Amex or American Express. We can only take a pre-pay card for the one off payment.
If a Customer Activates on the 3rd, their PDD will be the 3rd of every month except the first month is 14 days after activation date. (See example above) Pro-Rata Billing This occurs when there is a change in subscription that happens in between statements being issued e.g. if a customer upgrades to Sky Sports their next bill may be a little higher as they are paying the full month in advance but also the dates for the previous month that it was not charged for. This also applies to downgrades, depending on the date the customer downgrades, their next bill may only see half of the subscription come off but the following bill will be the full amount. All is explained on Bill view.
An Unpaid Direct Debit will automatically be resubmitted 10 days later. It can only be unpaid twice before system will request details again. Reasons for an unpaid DD can be found in I Know.
Change Payment Due Date: We can change the payment due date in Bill view and can choose for the 2nd – 27th of the month. A customer can change this through My Sky or the Interactive Button.
3 Day Off Set Rule: If you activate on the 29th, 30th or 31st it is automatically pushed back 3 days.
Prize freeze: This comes off for Downgrading or if a customer cancels. If they cancel and reinstate they don’t get the prize freeze back. If they upgrade they still keep it.
Early Termination Charge If a customer cancels or ends a service in their minimum term they may have to pay an Early Termination Charge. To ensure you are giving correct information about specific Early Termination Charges, always use the ETC Calculator in Cordiant.
