CROSSINGS
Thresholds play an integral role as a user’s first experience to a building. Closer to the human scale, the entryway provides information that is indicative of the building’s character. But the object the hand uses to manipulate the threshold is one of the most intimate challenges for a designer. This relationship was studied through formal and functional analyses.
