Gerber’s Gourdgeous Pumpkin Decorating Contest

The competition was fierce for the company’s pumpkin carving contest this year! Employees could participate by decorating their department’s pumpkin, and by submitting an individual pumpkin.

Looking Back at Once-Considered Luxury – Ancient Toilets Were Kind of Crappy

The oldest toilet to date was recently discovered in Jerusalem, a CNN article states The toilet featured a small hole in the center and was made from limestone, which was designed for “comfortable sitting” according to the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) A deep septic tank stood underneath

The toilet is estimated to be about 2,700 years old, right around the Kings of Judah period, before Israel was taken over by the Assyrians

These ancient private toilet cubicles are very rare, and were only affordable for the rich Evidence of a nearby garden with fruit trees and aquatic plants was also found, leading researchers to believe that an extensive palace once rested on the site
