1 STARTING THE EXPEDITION INTO NEXT:LAND The dwarfs and Giants next:organizing hackathon 4 days: 7th to 10th Nov. 2016

Start the expedition to the next:land of organizing. It is more than a “workshop“ - rather an introduction to a new way of thinking and working. The “next:organizing hackathon” is a temporary yet structured event to radically develop new or change existing management models using interdisciplinary teams. Including full speed simulations of agile challenges and creating a start-up mind-set to prototyping and experiencing next:practices and systemic craft. Do, reflect, learn!

2 Dive into immersive learning experiences and prototyping workshops that rapidly shift your thinking and enrich your practice of agile strategy creation and management: scrum, holacracy, agile tool-kit, steering your organization like a tribe, from strategy to strategizing.

H C A O R P P A OUR The program is rooted in action, and reflects on it. It is not simply a training course, but a LAB in which you can develop the skills, tools, knowledge and attitudes you will need to thrive in a world of constant change – for your expedition into next:land. The program is experience driven, so all modules are based on immersive LAB´s and concrete projects within your organization. You as expedition participant take personal responsibility for your own learning and the success of the program. The participants will be supported and coached on both, individual and group levels and towards a real impact into their organization.

How to be a leader in the spirit of next:land. How to create a 21st century organization:design. How to prototype and use next:tools.

LEARNING OUTCOME

Apply systemic tools (like e.g. diagnosis, systemic questions, systemic loop, systemic organizational goggles, ...) and next:tools (like e.g. strategizing, agile teams, innovation LAB´s, purpose processes, teal tools...). OUR NAME The metaphor of dwarfs standing on the shoulders of giants (Latin: nanos gigantum humeris insidentes) expresses the meaning of „discovering truth by building on previous discoveries“. Although attributed to Bernard of Chartres in the 12th century, its most familiar expression in English is in Isaac Newton’s letter of 1676, “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.”

You need to be experienced in working in an organization in minimum for 3 years. Please send us a written application and a video.

15.500.- ¤ for the entire program. The fees include tuition, handouts and learning materials, workshop rooms and coffee breaks.
